On May 23rd-24th, 2023, the 59th USIC General meeting was held in Hendaye, in France, chaired by the President of the association, Christophe Parel, with the participation of delegates from 11 countries. The USCF organizing team created very good conditions for the meeting, which had, among other things, a discussion of the state of USIC finances, the approval of the financial statements for 2022 and of the proposed budget for 2024, presented by Treasurer, Peter Lienhard, and the updating of the sports calendar, which was managed by CTT Chairman, Sebastien Picca. A very important point of the meeting was the adoption of the proposal for changes in the USIC documents, and as the General secretary, Miroslav Kaprálek stressed, the proposal was the result of work for more than two years and should bring an increase in USIC activity in the future. At the end of the meeting, colleagues from Italy took over the symbolic rely and Genaro Avagliano presented basic information about the organization of the 60th General meeting in May 2024 in Italy.
